About Us

Benjamin Brown Books was  started by Christopher Aslan. His creative vision and entrepreneurial drive  inspired him to courageously to step out on his own and start his own company, in order to facilitate a large body of work that inspires and empowers young kids and adults alike. After building the foundation by himself for a few of years and wearing way to many hats for one person alone, a kismet meeting between Christopher Aslan and Meghan Spong in the summer of 2006 happened. Upon returning to Vancouver after a few years in Toronto, Meghan phoned a newspaper ad about a car for sale. Christopher answered the phone call. To make a long story short, Meghan did not buy the car from Christopher... but Christopher invited Meghan on board... it was a meeting that brought about the evolution of Benjamin Brown Books.( Named after Christopher's Dog Benjamin)

Since that fateful summer, Christopher and Meghan have now both been working tirelessly to establish themselves with the launch of Christopher's first two book's, Lilly and Lucy's Shadow, and Wenda the Wacky Wiggler. With his third book, Dude, just out, and new authors coming in the near future, Benjamin Brown Books has now turned into a into a full on publishing company.  Meghan is now  heading it up as Publisher and Christopher is returning back to the creative side, moving on into new and exciting creative projects.
